In an 8-0 vote, the Annville, PA school board unanimously voted to ban the children's book "The Dirty Cowboy", written by Amy Timberlake and illustrated by Adam Rex, from their libraries. The school board apparently claimed the book was a gateway to pornography. Despite winning several awards (Parent's Choice Gold Medal and International Reading Association awards among others) the school board has now removed this book from their library shelves. Tell the Annville, PA school board that censorship is wrong on all levels, even if it's just a children's book, by signing this petition!
