Annastacia Palaszczuk has tweeted that only people who have been fully vaccinated will be able to enter hospitality venues, stadiums, entertainment venues, music festivals, government owned galleries, museums etc, aged, care facilities, hospitals (with some exceptions), prisons and disability services venues. 

This is clearly not a reward, as she tweeted, but an infringement on the rights of people to remain unvaccinated, the privacy of people who have been vaccinated and right of of a business owner to decide who should be able to enter their premises and become a customer.

This is forcing business owners to act to police over what is no more than a political tactic with no supporting health advice. Businesses who refuse to tow the line will be penalised by having to revert to the 1 person in 2 sqm rule, thus impacting their livelihood. How is that a reward?

Unvaccinated people will be locked out of hospitals for all but emergencies, denying them the right to what is a public facility they have paid for with their hard earned taxes.

There will have to be some means of policing this i.e. to prove that you have been vaccinated. It will mean a form of a vaccine passport to carry on living as you always have done even though you have been fully vaccinated. How is that a reward? It is an invasion of privacy.

Altogther, this is a civil liberties disaster in the making and should never be allowed to proceed.
