As we all know there is huge increase in Corona Omicron variant and most of the states in india have started to impose lockdowns/curfews. Since Anna University has scheduled their PG Exams during the first quarter of 2022 we students find it difficult to travel to college and write exams in this pandemic situation. Especially people from other states outside Tamil Nadu who all are studying under Anna University may suffer while travelling to college and back. We are concerned about our health as well as elderly people in our homes. We may not sure whether there will be imposing of curfews during our exams. Most of the schools have postponed their exams during this situation. So we kindly request Anna University to change Offline exams to Online exams considering the current rise in omicron variant and the health of the students writing the exams as well as others who they may get contact. Please do notice this petition and kindly change the decision. Traveling from other states to Tamil nadu may affect if they impose immediate curfews. We are not asking to postpone the current scheduled exams. We are just requesting for the university to change offline exams to online exams. Thankyou.
