Robot Underdog's Dragon Ball Z: Light of Hope is the most promising Dragon Ball Z live action project in the making. In lieu of the recent casting call for Bulma Briefs (the mother of Trunks), there have been MANY requests that Robot Underdog 'select' Anna Kendrick as the actress for the part. Just one problem, funding. Yes, Robot Underdog is raising money, but having Anna Kendrick come on board seems like a long shot. So, that is why we at Dragon Ball Insider are petitioning Anna in hopes that she would volunteer for this role. Not only would you be perfect for the part, but it would be an enjoyable experience that we have been involved with since day one of this project. And if it helps any, the Robot Underdog film makers would only need you for ONE DAY MAX!

Dragon Ball Z: Light of Hope will be a three-part, live action, mini web series, that is being put together by a team by called Robot Underdog. It will be based on and corresponding with the events of the “alternate timeline”, which became popular through the TV special Dragon Ball Z: The History of Trunks. For the record, this is a live action web adaptation. This project is NOT intended to be identical to the aforementioned TV special. It is, however, based on the future timeline of events where Trunks, Gohan and Bulma struggle to stay alive (despite all of the casualties) from the murderous Androids, 17 and 18.
