Ann Coulter: Apologize to people with developmental disabilities and families

Using the 'R-word' as an insult is offensive, ugly, crude and inappropriate. To us with family members who have developmental disabilities, it cuts to the bone. It's as denigrating as the 'N-word.' Is that why Ann Coulter felt free to insult President Obama with it?

Shame on Ann Coulter for publicly using such a term. Who is she to dare to insult me, my son, and millions of other Americans by that word? Who is she to add to insult the prejudice that my son and his peers have to go through every day of his life? Because she has a public pulpit, she has a right to use these scalding terms?

That is not freedom of speech.

Make Ann Coulter apologize publicly to the President of the United States, and also to me, my son, and all the families and advocates who work to give the 'retards' of the world a chance at a normal life.
