Stop eating endangered Bluefin Tuna
Bluefin tuna are one of the most threatened species in today's oceans. They can weigh over a thousand pounds, swim at over forty miles an hour and reach lengths of ten feet. They can cross the entire Atlantic ocean in the span of a few weeks. However, their meat is considered a delicacy in japan and many sushi restaurants worldwide. They now have a selling price so high that they are worth their weight in silver. This market has led to massive fishing operations that are literally destroying the species. The fish are caught at their breeding grounds, farmed, fed huge amounts of other wild sea life which was also caught, then sold to the highest bidder. Many companies recognize that the stock of this fish could collapse in the next few years, so companies are storing the fish in massive freezers to sell at a huge price once the species is extinct. In this case, there really aren't plenty more fish in the sea.
