Angostura Chairman must resign after sexual harassment allegations

It has come to our attention via recent newspaper articles (see below) of a situation of grave concern relating to Angostura Holdings Limited’s female employees and all females in this country.
We have become aware of allegations of indecent sexual assault and sexual harassment that were allegedly committed by the highest office in the company (i.e. The Chairman) towards a female executive in Angostura.
We note however Angostura has been remarkably silent on the issues of these sexual allegations and that the tenor of the letters written between Angostura's attorneys and the victim’s attorney (as reported in the newspapers), appear to be oppressive and insensitive rather than one which is intent on investigating the truth.
We wonder whether other female employees in your company would feel comfortable to report any form of discrimination, given the treatment by your Audit Committee (headed by incredulously, a woman) as it relates to this particular issue.
We further ask what is the status of the investigation on the allegations made against the Chairman. We are informed and we ask whether you can confirm whether the audit committee chairman, Ms. Ingrid Lashley, a high ranking female, herself of a high profile, has instructed the Company’s attorneys to communicate to the victim's attorney that the investigation was closed. If so on what basis was this done? How does one IGNORE the WEIGHT of a Polygraph test, where the employee passes the test???
This petition is for the Board to step forward and insist that the Right thing be done. The offices of the Chairman of the Board and Chairman of the Audit Committee have been brought into disrepute. The Board Chairman and Audit Committee Chairman, do the honourable thing and RESIGN!!
