We currently have Biometric Fingerprint readers as part of our Access Control System.

With the Recent COVID Outbreak , 

- Touching the fingerprint reader by 1000+ residents will result in spreading the virus quicker

- Sanitazing your hands , either before or after using the readers is not an effective. Theres a good chance that you would touch your seat or steering wheel to pull away before you get a chance to sanitize.

MY SUGGESTION :

OPTION A

- Allow Residents to purchase RFID Tags in order to access the complex as an alternative to Fingerprint Readers ( Active Reader - Passive Tag System can be used)

OPTION B

- Install an ANPR Camera to allow Vehicle Number plates to be automatically Identified and trigger the Boom to open.

- If Security is still an issue then a combination of Option A and Option B can be used. i.e A sort of 2FA authentication

I dont know who our reseller is , but I've contacted a distributor and RFID Tags and APNR cameras can be used . They would need to Model details and Software Details.
