We the undersigned urge you to cosponsor and advocate for the passing of the federal Functional Gastrointestinal and Motility Disorders Research Enhancement Act of 2019 (H.R.3396).

Gastrointestinal and Motility Disorders are debilitating disorders affecting millions of Americans.  These disorders do not receive the funding necessary to produce effective treatment due to being grouped with many other conditions in the appropriations process.  Creating a category specifically addressing motility disorders, will raise awareness and bring help to the millions of sufferers who are affected.

Congress has already funded countless breakthroughs in medical treatments for many diseases and conditions.  Now we need your support for the Functional Gastrointestinal and Motility Disorders Research Enhancement Act to ensure we no longer let anyone endlessly suffer with these disorders without hope.
