Atlanta Braves should recall all Opening Day tickets from scalpers!
This petition had 103 supporters
The sale of Opening Day tickets to the true fans of the Atlanta Braves has been grossly mis-handled this year by the Braves organization. Their well publicized public on-sale of single game tickets went off today resulting in very few tickets actually available and a spur of the moment pre-sale yesterday reportedly included a glitch that allowed scalpers to buy up all the tickets in bulk. The bottom line is there are thousands of tickets listed on-line for sale for extremely inflated prices and the normal everyday fan that follows the rules, and laws for that matter, has been completely forgotten by the organization in this case. This petition is giving the Atlanta Braves a chance to take a stand against ticket scalping! It doesn't cost them anything! It gives them a chance to support their fan base which was the main reason for the stadium move in the first place! It gives them a chance to do what's morally right for all of Braves Country and win back the support of some fans that have lost interest through the last few tough years! Performers all across the world regularly take a similar stand against ticket scalpers and they don't own the venues themselves like the Braves do! As a fan, THERE'S NO REASON why the Braves should not do this. Please take a stand by signing this petition and tell the Braves that we as a fan base will NOT tolerate this!
