Gov. Beshear,

Many of your fellow Kentuckians have applauded and walked alongside you to help us navigate through the coronavirus pandemic. You asked us to look out for your fellow Kentuckians, to keep each other safe, and affirming that we are all in this together. Well now it's time you walk with us. This petition requests the presence of you, Gov. Beshear, to stand with the Black Lives Matter movement not from a podium in Frankfort. Not from the safety of the governors mansion, but with us, the people, many of whom elected you to office. You asked us for solidarity to save Kentucky lives, and now it's your turn to show solidarity with Kentucky. Louisville Metro Police Dept. and the Kentucky National Guard are abusing and killing your fellow Kentuckians. It's time to show the people who elected you whose side you are on. Stand with black lives! Help protect your fellow Kentuckians. Bring peace and justice to all!
