Due to the recent Covid-19 pandemic spreading across the United Sates many schools and businesses are closing down.  Due to this many families are struggling to get by and with many public schools not being in session, seniors are forced to learn from home. Learning from home is difficult for many students as they might not have access to the internet, some seniors might not have the ambition to pursue finishing their senior year because they rely on their teachers at school to help them succeed.  Online school also puts a lot of unneeded pressure on parents, because now they're tasked with making sure their son or daughter receives a High school Diploma on their own, without the help of the amazing teachers in the PLCS district. Seniors have already lost so much of their final year of High School. We were all looking forward to attending our Senior Prom, and walking across the stage to be gifted with our diplomas we worked 13 years for. To relieve the already imposing stress of the virus pandemic accompanied by the constant flow of emails and assignments to do every week, PLCS seniors should not be required to complete  the rest of their senior year of high school online.
