On April 25th Quinn Butts life was taken away.her father Trent Butt is accused of 1st degree murder and arson relating to Quinns death. March 26th 2018 is the date set by the Supreme Court NL as to when the trial will begin..this is a year away. That will bring it up to nearly two years since little 5 year old Quinn died.this leaves a mother and family in limbo , unable to even grieve their tremendous loss because of this cloud hanging over their heads, they deserve swift justice to enable this chapter of their loss to be closed so that they can try to piece together their lives in some way during the arraignment and plea the crown made it clear they are prepared to move ahead with trial as early as summer and voiced that they have no issues with the case being heard in another building. A fundamental right of accused persons is the right to a speedy trial, this right should also extend to Andrea Gosse the mother that lost her baby.given the sensitive horror of this case we ask you arrange that this case hold a high priority in the courts and be heard in a more appropriate time frame
