Give Beaminster children a safe school crossing

The parents and children of Beaminster St Mary's Academy would like a crossing on the main road outside their school. The lollipop lady was not replaced 6 years ago, and children only have an inadequate piece of pavement to try and cross from. Children trying to cross this road has been "an accident waiting to happen" ever since the lollipop lady went. On Monday 6th March that accident finally happened. The boy was not seriously hurt, but if he had been smaller, or the car had been going 5mph faster, then the accident could have been serious. Dorset County Council need to take this incident seriously, and provide a safe crossing for the 134 children at the school.
