Lorenzo Stallworth started this petition to Governor Andrew M. Cuomo and

We the people; of all colors and ethnicity have done the unachievable by coming together in all 50 states and stand up for what we believe in. Although we have our differences most have put those differences aside to unite and come together. Equality has taken a huge leap and has progressed. we the people would like to celebrate this year after year to remember that even though we don't come from the same cultural background we can stand together and unite. The generations to come should remember moments like these and should be left unforgotten.

With that said WE THE PEOPLE propose to celebrate unification day on June 3rd in remembrance of equality & unification.

Thank you.
