Residents of Assisted Living Facilities in New York NEED outside, safe, family visits!!!!

Governor Cuomo and the Department of Health have not acted or instituted guidelines for reinstating outdoor, safe, socially distant, with masks, visits for family of Assisted Living residents in NY.  Now that there is widespread and ongoing testing for Covid 19, it is common sense that this happen now, while the weather is warm. The elderly need to see their families in person for both their mental as well as their physical well being. To deny them of these basic human rights, is an overreach by the government and plain cruel. Let the families give our loved ones, the light and love they need during this time of darkness. Let US decide what is best for our loved ones, NOT the government. We would do so in a responsible fashion to ensure their safety. It's been too long, and many of them are suffering with depression, anxiety, loneliness and fear.  Some, may never see their families again if this continues. NJ has opened up for these all important visits, it's time NY does.

PLEASE SIGN THIS PETITION! THANK YOU!!!!
