In this pandemic due to corona, schools are closed causing kids to attend online school (remote learning) versus reality. Online school allows kids to use technology for school so they can go to virtual classes to video call in order to see there teacher just like in real life. Although this is a great idea to keep kids minds working during this pandemic, we have to keep in mind kids are doing this from home where something could be going on, kids can be facing physical or mental abuse, and some kids may not have access to internet, or the devices necessary to continue remote learning. Kids are being bombarded with work and that is putting a lot of stress and pressure on them plus trying to wrap their mind around everything going on in our world right now. Also considering the fact we are at home, kids have many distractions which can stop them from learning and their is not much teachers can do to stop them because kids are at home. Which is why I think we should stop Remote Learning and let kids do Summer school instead. Kids will be in a proper learning environment, surrounded by people who can help them with their education with easier access to those people, and less distractions so kids can really learn. But to keep kids minds fresh assignments should be sent once in a while.
