We middle class commuters of the New York & New Jersey metro area are deeply affected by the recent announcement from the PANYNJ that the carpool discounts on the Hudson River crossings are being halted. We believe that this is a great injustice to the thousands of hard working commuters who get nickles and dimed heavily for crossing the nation's most expensive and overpriced bridges and tunnels on a daily basis. 

It is hypocrisy of the highest standard for the Governor to  constantly say that he fights for the middle class when we see our tolls rising without reckoning with the voters at all.

Besides that please take into account the effect of the more vehicles crossing now will have on the environment. 

Please be considerate of your constituents and reevaluate your decision to help your fellow citizens.
