The logic of feeding less than one million homeless students and giving them day care services via public schools in New York City and its five boroughs and henceforth the schools have to be kept open while the monster Corona Virus is lurking over the head of 8+million people , is a very dangerous and toxic political idea. The students are practically becoming reservoirs and counduits of Covid19 transmission to the vulnerable adult groups creating a scenario where the hospitals in New York will be put to overwhelming crowding with patients in the coming future.

Mayor Deblasio and whoever behind this ridiculous decision to keep the schools open should bear personal responsibility for putting the lives of the New York City residents at Covid 19 risk 

There should not be any political profiting here.  It should be pure healthcare issue and safety for all. 

If there is a need to provide meals for students and daycare support to working parents, let the schools be used for that purpose. But the schools should not demand other students to come to school and get contaminated from mass gatherings in classes.
