George Silva started this petition to Governor Andrew M. Cuomo

I would like to ultimatums see if I can achieve the congressional Medal of Honor for a WW2 Marine who died in combat and helped take out a Japanese artillery position that would of led to the death of other  marines at the time. His mission was a success and the Japanese position was eliminated but he made the ultimate sacrifice! For this sacrifice he was posthumously awarded a bronze star and a Purple Heart. The action alone merits a higher award and as a fellow servicemen I feel that his actions merit the highest award of all! The congressional Medal of Honor!
