To begin with I think this company is bias borderline racial inequity, and they treat blacks diffrent than they treat others. I believe they don't employ many if any Black African American people especially in the Utica NY.office They are very rude at times and hard to deal with in their condesending ways, and they have diffrent rules for clients. yes race is a factor. I am a advocate for my profound brain damaged relative. I have to struggle with RCIL and it takes weeks to months to get a person hired to work for my family member. Is this Consumer Directed or RCIL directed. The 2 TB verification also holds up hireing process. Why can't they start a job with oneTB and have the other done within 2 weeks of hire affording them the oppertunity to get the 2nd TB 2 weeks later. In essence your already 2 weeks out before you can get a person hired to get the desparate releif needed and help for the consumer! This process is so tedious people find other jobs where they can start imediatly and to be honest better pay. Why should people do this work and not get paid their worth. My consumer has lost employees because of this process, which use to take 3 days at best is now over a month. Also If a mistake is made on the I9 we have to redo it make corrections and mail it in Longer now were 3 weeks in. Why cant we just redo a new one with DOCUSIGN as we do the initial appliacation, RCIL won't allow us to do that. I dont understand why not or their process its not about the consumer its about them ensuring they dont get autited and lose a dime while they are not helping the consumer get the help they need. Now they are asking for prof of address by showing a peice of mail,this was just added to my new hires. They micromanage me and treat me as if we are doing crimminal activity and im sure some have and Im sick of paying the price for other peoples actions. I was also told that we were not allowd to use the CDPAP and self directed up to 4o hours on each program entity all though one has nothing to do with the other. I have managed my daughters services for 15 years and know not to go over hours on CDPAP. You have to get special permission from them first. A self directed budget has nothing to do with CDPAP, they are 2 diffrent entities, its not uncommon for them people to be threatened that they will cancel their services. They have made the consumer pay back money when a worker went overtime without their permission. Why are the smaller communities not allowd who they want as a fiscal employer. they say they want to keep people in their homes yet make it difficult on family members who try to hire employees through these FI agancies. if someone has a waiver most Fi can't take on a client with a waiver or the client could lose the program because its most agencies are managed care agencies so only a select group can except both such as RCIl and thats not in the best intrest of the consumer and their right to choose. they need more choices of what CDPAP agency they would like to work with. Consumers are in dier need of workers consumers cant find workers because they are not getting paid a decent wadge. !2.80 hour isnt worth it to people to come in your home take care of your loved one and bath, change diapers, feed and at times combad difficult clients, People need insentives to work insentives to stay on the job bonuses ect. seems to me the Government takes more than they give and these agencies work people like dogs and give n
them no insentatives as well, PCA workers need to be noticed for their hard work and theis dedication to their clients by getting paid a decent wage so the job is rewarding and not seemingly beneath them 12.80 a hour only reflects that their work and worth isnt valued by the Government or this agency this agency has no people skills and treat consumers like pions beneath them in all actuality they make a consumer jump through hoops and treat them as if they work for them rather than they are working for you the consumer. Consumers are not their priority.
