Destiny Snyder started this petition to Governor Andrew M. Cuomo

This is the moment we have all been waiting for, graduation. From countless hours of homework and studying to get ourselves where we are today. We the class of 2020 have worked so hard to get ourselves to this moment. The day we could be so proud of our accomplishments, to finally have it all pay off. It’s sad to say that maybe that last day of regular school would be the last time to say goodbye. And we didn’t even know it. Our school is a very close community, some might even call family. All I would like to see is a proper send off to our new lives. Right now I don’t feel as if I did it. I don’t feel satisfied with my 12 years of learning. We have had multiple things taken from us that former grads got the opportunity to have. Senior prom, trip, literally everything is all gone. The least anyone could do for us is a graduation. Yes, I know it might be a little different because we have to be 6 feet apart. But I know that our school could pull it off. The baseball, soccer and softball field would give us enough room. I don’t know if this will even go anywhere, but at least I tried. And to the class of 2020, I love you all dearly and I’m sorry everything is a mess❤️
