Make the MTA and commute better in NYC

Every morning, many commute to school or work by using the bus or train in New York. About six million people use the MTA on a regular basis. The MTA serves Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn, the Bronx, and Staten Island through the MTA Staten Island Railway. A single fair can take you about 31 miles on the A train alone. New Yorkers heavily rely on the MTA, but sadly, many trains and buses are delayed daily. These delays can be a mere minute to all the way to an hour, which many cannot afford to lose precious time in the morning. We've all heard

“we are delayed because of train traffic ahead of us. We apologize for any inconvenience. Thank you for your patience.”

We can't stand it. Also, some of the stations in New York are old and need repairs, there's trash in every corner of the station. It's time to tell the MTA to do its job and ensure every New Yorker has a welcoming commute.
