Equal Rights for All Amendment

New York State Constitution does NOT include an Equality for All amendment. The current climate of this nation indicates that we, the people of NY, should be protected from the whims of Washington. The instability in our current government combined with antiquated legislature leaves the people of New York vulnerable and we don't like it!
The instability in own current corruption-filled government combined with the antiquated legislature leaves us, the people of New York, vulnerable and we don't like it!
We want your support, Governor Andrew Cuomo, to hold a NY State Constitutional Convention where women and other front line communities are adequately educated, informed, and empowered to hold positions as delegates. We want to hold 107 out of the 204 open seats for delegates as we make up more than 52% of the population of NY.
We want to hold 107 out of the 204 open seats for delegates as we, women and minorities, make up wmore than 52% of the population of NY.
We demand equality for women, disabled individuals, LGBTQ+ members, and all persons who have "beat, blood, and breath" as protected in our state constitution.
We strongly urge you to make a statewide announcement and publicize the ballot measure because over 60% of New Yorkers are not aware of this opportunity to make NEW YORK better for all.
We will no longer be silent and stand together committed to seeing a fair, just, and equitable NEW YORK for ourselves and for future generations!
