To keep such a human being locked up in a cage, is sooooo egregious. It is not just wrongful. It is sadistic. Bryon should have had his freedom years ago. Please correct this wrong today.

As a family member to someone who has been incarcerated for 27 yrs, I know what growth and maturity looks like, I know that people can make a horrible mistake, learn from it and never do it again. I know how it feels to miss someone so deeply! I stand with you!!!!!!

49 years is massively too long for these crimes. Moreover, if the goal of prison is to rehabilitate, that goal has been achieved.

What made me sign this petition? Anger. Anger that this man is still in jail when a white man who committed the same crimes would have been praised considering the "victims." Not only that, but this sentence was excessive - as are most sentences of black men - and clearly he has been rehabilitated. You have to wonder why someone with a perfect record for TWENTY years in prison has not been paroled... I think we all know the answer to that as well. It is time for true justice to be served by releasing this man.

In hopes that NY Mayor Cuomo releases him. It sounds like he is a model prisoner who has served his time.

I believe he has changed. I am a different person than I used to be and I believe Bryan is too and he deserves another chance.

Bryon is a good man who deserves to be home with his wife and children. His clemency application has been on your desk for 20 years! Can you imagine your spouse being locked away exposed directly to COVID & abuse even though they have grown, changed, and is a wonderful parent and spouse? Please end the torture now and send Bryon home. Please have some compassion to see this man for who he is today, not who he was on the worst day of his life.
