This Petition of the residents of NSW mainly in and around Hoxton Park and the surrounding area's of Liverpool brings to the attention of ANDREW CONSTANCE MINISTER FOR TRANSPORT  the proposed closure of Right Turn in and out Lanes to the intersection of Hoxton Park Road and Dorrigo Ave which will adversely affect the Residents, Business Owners, Community Health Centre, the School Communities in and around the Hoxton Park Shopping Village.

The undersigned petitioners ask the Legislative Assembly to instruct Transport for NSW to STOP the Closure of the Right Turn In and Right Turn Out Lanes for the benefit of the Community.

We the Residents of NSW and Business Owners of Hoxton Park Shopping Village and we are writing to you to lodge our objection to the proposed plan for Transport for NSW to close the Right Turn In and Right Turn Out Lanes from Dorrigo Ave onto Hoxton Park. Two of the 8 reasons we sent to the Minister are outlined below.

1)  Rather than the Closure of the current Seagull lanes we would prefer to have the existing road design integrated into the project since the proposed Bus Lanes are on the kerbside lanes.

2)  It will increase traffic congestion in the Local area by pushing Cars Off Hoxton Park Road and onto the Local residential roads on their journeys to and from the Shopping Village.
