REF: (a)  37 CFR 1.181 - Petition to the Director

SUBJ:  "CROWDSOURCE" AND/OR "CROWDSOURCE THE TRUTH" (CSTT), S/N 87752970

Ladies and Gentlemen,

As you are well aware a company known as "Multimedia System Design, Inc." (MSDI) has applied for the subject trademark.  This application will be published for opposition on June 5, 2018.

We, the undersigned, hereby oppose any attempts made by "JASON DAVID GOODMAN" (JDG) or his alleged company, MSDI, to secure any trademark protection for the subject terms.

"CROWDSOURCE" is a generic industry term of art that refers to legitimate intake from third party members of the public to solve problems or challenges.  In such situations of "crowdsourcing" a sponsor can intake dozens of pieces of information in an attempt to coalesce a theory or solution.

JDG, MDSI and his "CSTT" have openly admitted to having direct participation in the closure of the Port of Charleston, South Carolina on June 14, 2017 via the transmission of a "Twitter Bomb" of 8,000 impressions to the 7th District Headquarters of the U.S. Coast Guard.  This port went into a radiological event lock-down as a direct and proximite result of JDG, MDSI and the CSTT YouTube show.  (See Amazon.Com title "REPORT: Port of Charleston Dirty Bomb Hoax").  The tweet (directed by JDG) :

"DIRTY BOMB -- PLEASE INVESTIGATE -- MAERSK MEMPHIS".

JDG has regularly had his privileges for his YouTube channels (CrowdSourceTheTruth 1.0 and 2.0) suspended by YouTube.  To include allegations for cyber-bullying, use of the channel for personal attacks, displaying the home address of innocent parties, calling the places of employment of CSTT rivals with threats of criminal prosecution, etc.

JDG has already began a "trademark strike" campaign against any rival that merely uses the term of art "CROWDSOURCE".  The undersigned believe that JDG will weaponize his trademark authority and continue damaging cyber attacks on the nation's critical infrastructure while attacking rivals in hopes of disrupting their employment.

Further, the CSTT 1.0 and 2.0 YouTube channels rarely present "news".  Routinely, CSTT presents comedy panel discussions of CSTT rivals to include the publication of reports of child abuse and neglect in order to create public humiliation for the intended target.

It would be a gross and reckless disregard for the safety of the public for the USPTO to proceed any further with this application.  Should it be approved, USPTO can expect aggressive litigation to seek an injunction from a federal court.

Sincerely,

Concerned Citizens of America
