I am starting this petition for my uncle Andre Nelson of Detroit MI who was wrongfully convicted in 1993. Serving almost 30 yrs in a prison for a crime that he did not commit due to corrupt police. When convicted he could not read nor write and was railroaded. Just another black man wrongfully charged to close a case. Please help us with trying to overturn his case. He has missed out on his children growing up and his grandchildren as well. His mother is getting older and going through health issues and she would like to see her son before she leaves this earth so please help me with signing this petition and possibly shed some light in the right direction to get me connected with the right people to assist.
