Sometimes I wish that I could just wake up and look out my window and all I can see is just a white cover on my lawn. I feel excited as I know it is going to be a snow day. That feeling was not it on February 2nd, I was rushed out of bed by my mother, "wake up you have school in 20 minutes". I was hit with a wave of disappointment, I look out my window and saw snow, as far as the eye could see. This petition is so that we can get these random breaks (thanks to mother nature). YES sometimes it extends the year a tiny bit but hear me out, after working so hard with no breaks snow days are essential to people as it is an unexpected day off, you could work on schoolwork you need to makeup or just use the time to relax so when you back at school you are reenergized and ready to work at great speed.
