As an Ancestry customer who has only just dipped their toe into the DNA side of genealogy it is already obvious to me this is a must have feature.

It is frustrating to only have a rather obscure shared DNA matches option. A chromosome browser would enhance the DNA analysis to at least bring Ancestry up to the level of its competitors who do provide such browsers. Ancestry has such a large number of family trees which make it attractive, so it is a pity that Ancestry cannot provide the tools needed. The browsing could be restricted to individual pairs by agreement if privacy is the problem.

People like me who have been Ancestry customers a long time and have trees on Ancestry should have the added functionality for positively identifying ancestors. With the results we now have, people can easily draw the wrong conclusions about ancestors. Please help all of this with this improvement.

In the 8 years this petition has existed, Ancestry has ignored the needs of genetic genealogists.
Well, as of today there are over 7,500 of us, with about 600 new signees just this week. So come on Ancestry, hear out pleas.

I use the chomosome browser on Myheritage daily, it is an incredibly valuable tool. I so wish Ancestry would provide the same tool to work through those matches that can't be figured out.
