Analogue, Inc. is an American company headquartered in Seattle, WA, that designs, develops, and sells video game hardware.

On August 3rd, 2020 Analogue opened up pre-orders for a revolutionary handheld device the Analogue Pocket. The product was first announced in 2019 and had little to no marketing until Monday, July 27 when Analogue made a preorder announcement to generate hype for the Analogue Pocket. When preorders went live on August 3, 2020 stock sold out in a matter of minutes with 90% of the consumers being locked on the shipping screen for up to 3 minutes and when they went to proceed with their order the customer was presented with an "out of stock" error screen. Currently, most of the customers who were able to preorder the Pocket has put theirs up for sale almost 3X the MSRP price and Analogue is fully aware of this. 

IGN reached out to Analogue to get clarification about August 3, 2020, pre-order launch for the Analogue Pocket. Following reports that some customers couldn't complete their pre-orders after having a unit in their cart, Analogue responded: 

"Shopify's shipping calculator was slowed down by immense traffic - we'll have a solution in the future. We apologize to those who experienced this issue."

I've reached out to Christoper Taber, the CEO of Analogue, Inc. and he has yet to respond. Thus, making the above statement to IGN FALSE. 

Please join me in extending a plea to Christoper Taber, the CEO of Analogue, Inc., to REOPEN preorders of the Analogue Pocket. The high demand for the Analogue Pocket shows that consumers want to purchase this device but are unable to due to the lack of ownership on Analogues part if we as a gaming nation can make our voices heard we will all be able to enjoy this device come May 2021 and Analogue will be handsomely rewarded through high volume sales if they fulfill this request!
