As residents of Anaheim Hills, we voice our concern for Anaheim Project Number DEV2018-00090, a conceptual development review of a new 300-unit multi-family residential development, including the demolition of existing 24 Hour Fitness and Edwards Cinema.
This development would exchange highly-frequented, popular businesses for a larger residential footprint, further bottlenecking a community with an already meager selection of available fitness and entertainment amenities. Among many other issues, we believe the traffic impact, overcrowding, and removal of these important lifestyle services, would reduce our quality of life. Therefore, we reach out now to prevent this development from further proceedings, to protect our community from over-urbanization and impaction at the cost of our places of business.
If the project, upon completion of preliminary impact studies, is not deemed as a public nuisance by the City of Anaheim, we intend to appear at the development's Conditional Use Permit review, and respectfully voice our concerns in-person before the Planning Commission.
