Expel Israeli Ambassador to Ireland, Ze'ev Boker

We call on An Taoiseach Leo Varadkar and An Tánaiste & Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade Simon Coveney to expel the Israeli Ambassador to Ireland, Ze'ev Boker.

In the most recent bout of Israeli aggression towards Palestine, at least 60 unarmed protestors were killed and over 2,400 injured, when fired on with live ammunition by the Israeli army, as well as tear gas and air strikes.

Not only were protesting civilians murdered, but the WHO reported that 211 health workers working in Gaza were injured by either bullet wounds, tear gas canisters or tear gas inhalation.

In an interview with RTÉ news, Israeli Government Spokesperson Michal Maayan was asked why Israeli forces opened fire on the protesters. Her answer was: "Well, we can't put all these people in jail".

In 2014, Dáil Éireann voted unanimously to recognise the state of Palestine, however this vote was never acted upon.

It is time now to formally recognise the state of Palestine and call out Israel, backed by the US, for their continued terrorist regime in occupied Palestine.

By signing this petition you stand in solidarity with the people of Palestine against further Israeli aggression, as well as calling on the Taoiseach and the Tánaiste to expel the Israeli ambassador from Ireland and recall the Irish ambassador from Israel.

Ní neart go cur le chéile.
