"In the Republic of Sri Lanka sovereignty is in the People and is inalienable. Sovereignty includes the powers of government,fundamental rights and the franchise" - Vide Article 3 of the Constitution

We the Sovereign People of Sri Lanka who entrusted our Executive Rights under the Constitution to His Excellency the President Nandasena Gotabhaya Rajapaksha, under Article 4 (b) of the Constitution has found him permanently incapable of discharging the functions of his Office. We the Sovereign People of Sri Lanka who entrusted our Legislative Rights under the Constitution to the 16th Parliament of Sri Lanka, under Article 4 (a) has found the Parliament completely incapable of curbing the excesses of the office of Presidency as envisioned under Article 38 of the Constitution.

Henceforth we the Sovereign People of Sri Lanka bring this motion of Impeachment exercising our right of Sovereignty. 

Resolution of Impeachment; 

1.    His Excellency Nandasena Gotabhaya Rajapaksha who as the President of this Republic is responsible to the National Security of the Republic, has a responsibility to make decisions based on rational and scientific facts, however all his actions and decisions are based on the advice of W. M. Gnanawathi ( National ID No. - 195661410036 ) also known as "ඥානක්කා" who resides at No. 246, Nidhahas Mawatha, Isurupura, Anuradhapura.

The President was introduced to her by Chief of Defence Staff and the Commander of Sri Lanka Army, General Shavendra Silva, WWV, RWP, RSP, VSV, USP and as of today her place of worship [දේවාලය] was constructed by Military Personal of the Sri Lanka Armed Forces who are paid for by the public, furthermore public funds have been intentionally misused in providing her military protection. In addition the President's decision to order the Sri lanka Police to protect her place of worship [දේවාලය] is a misuse of public money and resources. 

2.    The total and deliberate breakdown in National and Social Security by putting the daily life of citizens at risk by destroying the stability of the National Economy, by failing to take prudent economic decision based on financial data and delaying the decision to make timely negotiations with the International Monetary Fund to canvass for an economic stimulus and by failing to forecast the National Energy demands and Foreign Reserves to meet our daily needs.

3.    The total and deliberate breakdown in the National Economic Stability by the deprivation of much needed tax revenue based on arbitrary economic decisions to cull taxes in a manner which oppresses the general public but creates an oligopoly in which infamous businessman ( such as Dhammika Perera, Ashok Pathirage, Sajad Mawsood and Ashroff Omar) who aided the Presidential Election Campaign could profit from.

4.    Engaging in occultism to curb the spread of Covid-19 in Sri Lanka when many countries in the South East Asian region engaged on mass vaccination campaigns ( Engaging in occult practices such as dropping pots filled with "miracle water" into rivers under the auspices of his brothers personal shaman, Eliyantha White ) and further causing a major loss in our Dollar reserves by purchasing the Sinopharm Vaccine at 15 USD a shot when many countries have purchased shots at 2.85 USD. The President by delaying the initiation of a timely vaccination campaign is directly responsible for the many preventable deaths and hence is criminally responsible for the loss of such lives. Whilst the facts speak to themselves the President inananeley states " I WAS THE ONE WHO DID IT THE BEST " ["මම තමයි හොඳටම කලේ"]

5.    The total destruction of the National Economy by the loss of billions of prospective dollars in Foreign Reserves by handing over the National Economy to his Brother, Basil Rajapaksha who is well known for corruption and financial irregularities and Ajith Nivard Cabraal who is infamous for the Greek Bond and Hedging Scandals to make reckless economic decisions.

6.    The breakdown in Social Stability by allowing a National Crisis to fester and form which resulted in 13 hour power cuts and long queues for fuel and other essential items.

7.    The National Security of the Country is at risk by the breakdown in the Food Security of people by the reckless and arbitrary ban on chemical fertilisers which lead to a massive loss in agricultural harvests and massive financial losses to those engaged in the agricultural sector as means of employment.

8.    Putting the National Security of the Country at risk, by putting a massive strain on the cost of living of the public by the excessive printing of money which had led to a massive spike in inflation, the allowing of black markets to prosper and thrive against the best interests of the public and allowing a well known chairman who is a confidante to alter the chemical composition in LP gas cylinders which lead to explosions in gas cylinders and stoves killing people and putting the lives of the general public at risk.

9.    Deliberately violating the Constitution by undermining the rule of law and the public service by publicly stating to consider his own words as Government Circulars.

10.    Deliberately using the the pure principles of Buddhism for political gains by employing various Buddhist Monks to create sectarian divisions within the Sinhala Buddhist community, completely against his inauguration oath to protect the Buddhasasanaya (බුද්ධ ශාසනය) in front of the Ruwanweli Maha Seya.

11.    Deliberately undermining National Unity by using his allies and allied media institutions to incite divisions and hatred between ethnic and religious groups.

12.    In view of the aforesaid it is evident that the President does not have the mental capacity to carry out his duties of the office of the President, this is evident by appointing a ludicrous Cabinet of Ministers on the 18th of April 2022 in direct violation of the request of the people who call for a positive change at the Galle Face Green and around the Country, this is further evident when the President confessed to the Nation on the same day that his decision to ban chemical fertilisers was wrong.

The aforesaid Resolution of Impeachment in addition to many other grave unconstitutional actions is an indictment against His Excellency the President, Nandasena Gotabhaya Rajapaksha as being unable to carry out his duties as the Executive President of Sri Lanka. 

We the Sovereign People of Sri Lanka demand that Nandasena Gotabhaya Rajapaksha respectfully resign from the Office of the Executive President of Sri Lanka;
