As most have heard by now, proposals by the Execs at the BBC is for local radio to be severely reduced in its daily and weekly output with no local output after 2.30pm daily and even less at weekends.

This I feel is a silly mistake on the BBC's part, dont they realise what they have in front of them a flagship show for one between 10pm -1am thats enjoyed by thousands across the south and throughout the world on BBC sounds, as well as other shows that many listeners enjoy too

If this was to vanish there would be loads of people who I am sure being alone would miss the interaction of the local radio and the presenters there in

so please reconsider what your doing maybe split the country into areas IE a show for the Northern area, a show for the Western area, one for the South say everywhere from London to Bristol south and then you got the East left for their own show? 4 possible evening shows 4 stations broadcasting them?
