I'm signing because I am a highly experienced and full professional sex worker in the state of New South Wales, Australia. New South Wales referred to as NSW, is a sex work decriminalised state. Having full equal rights as a worker I am able to move past stifling laws & biased attitudes and get on with my life away from discrination. Now with 2 teenage children in private schools, 2 mortgages and taxed income, I am not less than, I'm not more than, just a regular woman in everyday. And wow the clients never treat me as a prostitute because the concept is not perpetuated. Decriminalisation ends so manys prostitution experience and frees people to think of themselves as healthy sexual beings, which they already are but the law brings with it habits and that habit I exhibit is non subjugated behaviour with laws that let me reach my full potential as a person not just a sex worker.

Sex work is honourable and needed, and sex workers need, like anyone else, safety and respect.

Sex work is work, and criminalising work only ever benefits abusers and exploiters, cos it prevents workers from fighting for better conditions.

Decriminalizing sex work protects men, women, and children, and would allow workers in that industry to get many things they are currently denied.
