Petition to take action on 3,000 Yazidi women that have been missing since 2014.
Why this petition matters
In 2014, 3,000 Yazidi women had gone missing in Iraq, and they are still missing until this day. Little if anything at all is being done in taking acting in finding these women and bringing them back home safely to their family and friends. This petition is to advocate for the missing women, make the public more aware of what has been happening for the past six years, to get more people involved in pushing forward into getting an inquiry through parliament, and for the governments in Australia and around the world to take more action in finding these women. The more signatures we receive, then hopefully governments will take this matter more seriously,
and take action!
This petition will also be included in a submission hopefully made by Councillor Michael McCormack to the Foreign Affairs Minister Marise Payne to instigate an inquiry into the missing 3,000 Yazidi women.
