For several years, Ahmed has been criticizing the leaders of his country, Jordan, and their decisions oppressing the people. He repeatedly accused the king of stealing the country's property.

        Recently, because of his criticism of the king, he was arrested in Iraq, where he had been working for some time. He was under the protection of the Human Rights Association and his file number is 194-19-09567. He was nevertheless taken back to Jordan where he was imprisoned in solitary confinement for 6 months. Ahmed was released in October 2020. 2 months later, the local authorities arrested him a second time while he was in his vehicle. They guided him to prison. He was subjected to atrocious physical and mental torture even before he was brought to a court of law. He received multiple blows to his torso, which caused fractures to his ribs and internal bleeding. His hands were tied to the ceiling for hours with gas bottles tied to his feet and they forced him to repeat "Long live the King", which he did not do. He had to go to the hospital as an emergency case and was on life support. He is currently at home awaiting his second trial on January 10, 2021.

       I am a Canadian citizen living in Quebec and a very close friend of Ahmed and his family. IT IS VERY URGENT to protect him as soon as possible from the torture and imprisonment of 10 years or more that he is facing. Ahmed Abu Zaid is followed by many people that share the same ideas. They also demand his release. He is a father of 4 children who deserves to live in freedom with his family. I shared photos of his admission to the hospital and the opinions of those who follow him.

We are very worried from the expected injustice. My family needs your help.

His followers and I, call on Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, Amnesty International Canada, the UN, and the Canadian Human Rights International Organization to help Ahmed leave his country and flee the threats.

منذ عدة سنوات ، كان أحمد ينتقد قادة بلاده ، الأردن ، وقراراتهم التي تضطهد الشعب. اتهم مرارا الملك بسرقة ممتلكات البلاد.

في الآونة الأخيرة ، بسبب انتقاده للملك ، تم اعتقاله في العراق ، حيث كان يعمل لبعض الوقتو قد كان خلال هذه الفترة تحت حماية منظمة حقوق الانسان و رقم ملفه ٧٦٥٩٠-١٩-١٩٤. و رغم ذلك تم نقله إلى الأردن حيث سجن في الحبس الانفرادي لمدة ٦ أشهر. تم إطلاق سراح أحمد في أكتوبر ٢٠٢٠. بعد شهرين ، اعتقلته السلطات المحلية مرة ثانية بينما كان في سيارته. وقادوه إلى السجن. تعرض لتعذيب جسدي ونفسي وحشي، حتى قبل المكوث امام المحكمة. تلقى ضربات متعددة على صدره، مما تسبب في كسور في أضلاعه ونزيف داخلي. تم ربط يديه بالسقف لساعات مع قنينات غازمعلقة بقدميه وأجبروه على قول "يعيش الملك" ، فرفض القول و كرر "تعيش الاردن" .فاضط أن يذهب إلى المستشفى كحالة طارئة وكان تحت التنفس الاصطناعي. وهو حالياً في المنزل في انتظار محاكمته الثانية في ١٠ كانون الثاني ٢٠٢١.

أنا مواطنة كندية أعيش في كيبيك وصديقة مقربة جدا لأحمد وعائلته. ومن الملحّ جدا حمايته في أقرب وقت ممكن من التعذيب والسجن لمدة ١٠ سنوات أو أكثر التي يواجهها. العديد من الاشخاص يتابعون أحمد و يشاركونه في افكاره، كما يطالبون بإطلاق سراحه. هو أب ل ٤ ابناء و يستحق أن يعيش في حرية مع عائلته. لقد شاركت صورا لإدخاله إلى المستشفى.

أنا وأتباعه ، نطلب من منظمة العفو الدولية الكندية والأمم المتحدة والمنظمة الدولية الكندية لحقوق الإنسان مساعدة أحمد على مغادرة بلاده والهروب من التهديدات.
