Pregnant women with HIV or AIDS in Malawi, Africa pass the virus to their unborn children. HIV/AIDS is a fatal disease that can prevent the spread to the unborn child if the mother is giving the proper medication. We need to help pregnant mothers of Malawi.

Ten percent of pregnant women in Malawi are not receiving AVR treatment, I would like to increase funding to help reach and cover the remaining 10% of women. The cost per patient-year of viral load tests averaged US$4.50. That is less than a cup of coffee at Starbucks. The cost per patient-year on ART is approximately US$100. This is about what you would spend eating out at a family dinner.

Eat out less once a year and skip one Starbucks coffee because the money you would spend could potentially save dozens of lives.
