We, the American people need to ALL come together and stand up for ourselves.  

The inability of the Senate to pass a relief package for the American people is criminal.  People in the greatest country in the world are starving, being forced into homelessness AND DYING through no fault of their own.  

Because the pandemic is not negatively affecting the senators lifestyles, they have no reason to compromise with each other and make something happen to help us.  The senators need to feel the pain of losing their income and health insurance so they can understand what a great deal of the population is experiencing.

I don't know the answer for how to make that happen.  My first inclination is for everyone to stop paying any kind of federal taxes so there is no money available to pay them, but I know that is not the answer.  The interest and penalties associated with that would only hurt us in the long run.  The little guy can never win against the IRS.

I understand we can vote the existing senators out and vote for candidates with a more humanitarian outlook, but there is no time for that.  We need to be able to ACT NOW.

If there is anyone who has more knowledge on the subject and knows if there is a way for the people to affect the salaries of the senators, please provide details and LET'S MAKE IT HAPPEN. Otherwise, this signed petition will be submitted to our congress men and women.
