STOP DRAG QUEEN STORY HOUR AT THE SUNNYVALE LIBRARY!

Drag Queen Story Hour is coming to your Sunnyvale Library on Saturday, November 9, 2019 at 2:30.  During that time, adult entertainer and Drag Queen WooWoo Monroe will come dressed in full drag and be reading perverse stories to very young children, encouraging them to accept the idea of gender fluidity and Drag Queens as role models.

Please voice your desire to put a stop to this perversion by signing this petition.

YOUR TAX DOLLARS AND LIBRARY DONATION/SUPPORT PAY FOR IT

The American Library Association (ALA) is actively encouraging libraries across the United States to host “Drag Queen Story Hours.” So far, at least 27 locations in 20 states are participating in the story hours.

These story hours are taking place in children’s libraries, often against the wishes of parents in the community! The ALA touts “tolerance,” and yet discriminate against those who don't want their children indoctrinated by the gender agenda.

NOT SAFE, HEALTHY, or AGE-APPROPRIATE

Libraries should be a safe environment for all children, and sexually exploitative material should not be acceptable as education or entertainment.

Our children are being “groomed” by drag queens under the disguise of education. Some drag queens have even admitted that their goal is to “groom” the next generation. Drag Queen Story Hour events are not enhancing learning but instead, brainwashing our preschoolers and elementary-age children.

Dear __________:

I am writing to express my extreme dismay after learning about the “Drag Queen Story Hour” scheduled at our Public Library.  My outrage only grew when I found out that the target audience for this pro-transgender program is 3-6 year olds!

To expose impressionable young children to seedy performers who flaunt deviant lifestyles, and to portray this as normal, healthy and wholesome is offensive and false.  It undermines the basic moral principals and standards of decency that sustain society: the natural order of the family.

Homosexual drag queens are not role models for innocent children. Furthermore, the American College of Pediatricians warns: "Conditioning children into believing that a lifetime of chemical and surgical impersonation of the opposite sex is normal and healthful is child abuse."

Is this really something our library should be promoting to young children?

I don't think so.  Glorifying a destructive lifestyle to young children is not ethical or responsible.  Children have a RIGHT to their innocence and it is the RESPONSIBILITY of adults to guard their innocence.

I humbly ask you to cancel "Drag Queen Story Hour." I do not want a single penny of my tax dollars spent on the corruption of youth.  Our children are our future. You have the power to put an end to this immediately.

As a taxpayer, I strongly urge you to protect the minds and souls of our most precious resource -- our children.

I humbly implore you to cancel the "Drag Queen Story Hour."

Sincerely,
