Help to repeal and remove President Trump's unconstitutional Travel Ban

0 have signed. Let’s get to 100!

The limitations and restrictions put in place by President Trump’s immigration ban is unconstitutional. The Immigration Ban is a direct assault on the fundamental constitutional values of equal protection and religious freedom. The Fourteenth Amendment of the Constitution retains a clause that provides that no state shall deny any person within jurisdiction “the equal protection of the law.” Michigan Governor, Rick Snyder, believes that rather than worsen it, immigration in Michigan will help make the economy stronger and create more jobs for our state.

The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) is an interest group that is currently suing President Trump for his violation of the statute that establishes the process for setting a refugee cap (the annual admission of refugees per fiscal year). By signing this petition, you are supporting the ACLU in their stance against President Trump and his executive orders restricting immigration from Muslim countries.

If enough people support the ACLU and their stance, then the federal courts could realize the unconstitutionality of Trump's executive orders and therefore repeal them.

Thank you for all of your support!
