Fix Congress Resign McConnell

Fix Congress Resign McConnell
Why this petition matters

Hello to all the American People reading this right now. 2020 was a tough year for all of us, well almost all of us. The U.S. gained 50 new billionaires thanks to Medicinal developments in reaction to Covid 19. Why am I bringing this up? Well because it seems every time the American People suffer the most, the rich get even richer, whether it’s due to bailouts from our government or securing deals to “Help” our country. I say all of this to tell you last week Mitch McConnell, Senate (Kentucky) Leader voted against helping every day Americans with a $2,000 check. This would’ve changed the total original amount from $1.6 billion to $5.22 billion to be distributed to us Americans. Understandably that is no small amount, but that is our hard earned money.
Our Reps and Senators have no issue passing bills to help billion dollar companies or even funding other countries reliefs plans. But when it came to helping those who put them in power they let us down.
With that being said, it’s time we the American People hold our Senators and Representatives accountable. McConnell might be a Republican but he still works for all Americans. Him denying us relief after 9 of the most grueling months is simply intolerable. Sign this petition to let him know we will not support officials voting against our better being. Our first goal is to put congress on notice that we come first. If this means making those that don’t put us first resign, then that is what we will do. Our most important step is to spread the word!!! Whether it’s a simple share on social media, talking to friends or family about the change we deserve. Our main goal is to stop letting Senators and Reps look out for campaign funders, instead of the American People. But before we are able to do that, we have to come together and agree on one thing.. WE ARE THE PEOPLE & WE ARE THE POWER
