I would like to stop the unfair rental increases on apartments and rental properties across the country. We are still in the midst of a pandemic, and millions of people have not gotten back on their feet. Nearly everyone that I know, that pays rent (myself included) have been subjected to unfair rental hikes. While I know that rent must increase from time to time, no one's rent should be going up by hundreds of dollars. Some people can barely afford to pay their rent, and these increases are making it more difficult. And since the middle class and low income families are being priced out, there is literally nowhere for people to move. STOP THE INCREASE!
