As members of AAFP and practicing DPC physicians, we ask that the AAFP cease their support of HR3708, a disastrous bill that is harmful to both family physicians and patients. Many of us are members of AAFP, but find it difficult to continue to support or participate in the organization when they support legislation that is harmful to us. This bill will especially be disastrous for independent direct primary care practices who are working on a daily basis to provide low cost, transparent pricing to patients.
