According to the U.S. State Department report, the United States has become the second most trafficked country in the world, as sex trafficking has become a $32 Billion dollar a year industry... And the U.S. Department of Justice reported that the sex slaves were 83% American citizens and as young as five years old in the United States. (1.)
What is the average age of those entering prostitution in America?
12 years old... (2.)
These are our children.
America needs to make some hard decisions. Either let this continue. Or stop the effects of Sex Trafficking in America. How can we be a Country of Freedom, if we enslave America's citizens or other citizens for the sexual exploitation of selfish pleasures of those who live in our Country?
“Human sex trafficking is the most common form of modern-day slavery, amounting to the fastest growing business of organized crime and the third largest criminal enterprise in the world. Sex trafficking crimes include prostitution, pornography, stripping, live-sex shows, mail-order brides, military prostitution, and sex tourism.” (1.)
We can not be a Free Country - if there are still modern slaves in our 21st Century society. You can not have equality and freedom, if we have Human Slaves among us.
I thought America was known for her Freedom? Let America then become the forerunner for Freedom for all Nations. Let us make America the leading example of what countries should do, in order to extinguish Trafficking.
We must demand that our Nation become a safe place for our children and our children's children. We must demand stricter laws and punishments made against Pimps and Traffickers. We must demand stricter laws and punishments for Buyers, for those who purchase sex from Human Souls. We must fight to stop those who buy a human’s body, to rape the soul. We must demand that internet we have been freely given, is not used for the searching of Sex. We must demand to make Sex Trafficking Illegal for the health, safety, and freedom for all who live in our Beloved Country.
How can we scream the praises of our favored Land by shouting, "Liberty and Justice for all." When Liberty and Justice are not counted among those who suffer in Slavery? Will we let them suffer in silence? Or will we join our voices together and demand that this madness be stopped?
If our own children were stolen and forced into Prostitution, would we not gather together to take back our children? But aren't these are Children? Why then are we not joining together to demand that we save our Country before we lose the war on Trafficking?
We need to start now and these are some things that need to be done.
Laws to stop the Internet from being the highway to Trafficking.
Laws such as Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act must be rewritten, so that it can not protect the illegal activity of Trafficking.
Laws must be passed so that Websites have to be held accountable if they so choose to disobey the Law and promote Human Trafficking. If Prostitution is indeed illegal, why is it that websites (Backpage.com) can promote Escorts and Sex Ads?
Laws be passed to persecute the Trafficker to a greater degree.
Laws must be passed to confiscate finances and property belonging to Pimps and Traffickers (who have made their money off of the sale of humans) when convicted and the funds given to Anti-Trafficking Organizations ( like - Rescue:Freedom).
Laws to be passed to persecute the Buyer to a higher degree.
We must make laws against Pornography and make it illegal, which directly educates, feeds, and propels Sex Trafficking.
We need sexualized movies to be banned, which indoctrinate people into the sexualization of the Sex Trade.
We need sexualized images, billboards, and magazines to be banned, since it fuels the Sexualization of humans and funds Trafficking.
We need sexualized music to be banned, which educates those into the Sex Trade.
We need more funds dedicated to the Police Department and assign more resources to assist the Law Enforcement into creating more positions and officers assigned to fight against Human Trafficking.
We must do everything we can, to eliminate Sex Trafficking and the things that surrounds the exploitation of the weak and vulnerable. This exploiting must be stopped.
And with our shared voices - we will get the Country that we fight for. In fact, I dare say that if we scream loud enough, we will get the attention of even the President himself - to help fight this battle that rages war against the soul of the United States of America.
"Those who deny freedom to others, deserve it not for themselves; and, under a just God, can not long retain it." The Collected Works of Abraham Lincoln. Edited by Roy P. Basler, Volume III, "Letter To Henry L. Pierce and Others" (April 6, 1858), p. 376.
For we WILL once more make our Country, a Country of Liberty for all.
For we WILL once more make our Country, a Country of Freedom.
Freedom and Justice for all.
