HELP SUPPORT GRANDPARENTS RIGHTS IN NC!!

In North Carolina, as of now, there is no law that would support grandparents rights for visitation after the divorce or death of one of the parents of the child. In the situation of the death of a parent, grandparents should NOT have to deal with the tragic loss of a child and visitation of a grandchild at the same time. Bill H.B. 413 is being brought to the attention of the state and supports grandparents rights as long as the grandparent and the environment is deemed fit/safe for the child. Every situation would be evaluated on a case to case basis and visitation/rights would be granted in court. Please help support our grandparents in North Carolina and keep loving families together.
