I care about the future of the World Heritage Site that is Belper. Once these developments go ahead, there is no turning back. We have only to think about the destruction of King Street and Belper Station.

I am a local resident and there are not enough local amenities to support new houses and this development will impact on the WHS

Belper does not have the space, services infrastructure to manage this significant number or new houses/ residents.

There are brown field sites in Belper in desperate need of restoration/ development and this this should be insisted upon prior to ANY green field site being considered.

Allegations have been made that the building company have made donations to the council in order to secure contracts and this should be fully investigated prior to any permissions being granted!

I believe that this planning application would destroy Belper and it's character and cause even more chaos and disruption to an area already struggling with traffic

I feel strongly about protecting Belper special status as a world heritage site. On Once that is lost it will be gone for ever. We must preserve our special places.

Redevelopment of brownfield areas would be much more beneficial to the town than impinging on open countryside endangering the status of the world heritage site
