"Don't let Amazon disrupt our lives; support the campaign to change the morning shift time
Why this petition matters

I am extremely concerned about my job. I'd like to request a later start time. The current working hours of 3:20 a.m. to 11:50 a.m. are not conducive to a productive and safe workplace. We would like to request that the hours be changed to 5:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The current hours are taxing our health and well-being. We don't get enough sleep and are exhausted from working so early every day. We believe we are not being treated fairly and would like Amazon to change its policy.
We, the undersigned, are writing to request a revision to the current 10-minute break policy. While we recognize the importance of short breaks throughout the workday, we believe that the current policy falls short of meeting the needs of the employees. The 10-minute break, in particular, is insufficient for us to attend to our basic needs, such as using the restroom and eating a snack. Furthermore, we do not believe that we have enough time to rest and recharge before returning to our tasks. I understand that there may be constraints that make it difficult to implement changes to our work schedule, but I believe that it is worth considering the potential benefits of allowing employees to get more sleep.amazon
We, the undersigned, are writing to express our concern about the treatment of Amazon warehouse workers. It has come to our attention that some workers have experienced abuse and mistreatment in the workplace, including being subjected to repetitive tasks and changes in morning shift times without proper notice or accommodation.
We believe that all employees deserve to be treated with respect and dignity, and we urge you to take action to address these issues. We call on Amazon to implement strong policies and procedures to prevent abuse and mistreatment of workers, and to ensure that all employees are treated fairly and with respect.
We urge Amazon to take the following actions:
Implement a zero tolerance policy for harassment and discrimination of any kind.
Provide training for supervisors and HR staff on how to recognize and prevent abuse and mistreatment.
Establish clear procedures for reporting abuse and mistreatment, and ensure that all reports are investigated promptly and fairly.
Ensure that workers are notified in advance of any changes to their shift times, and that they are given the opportunity to provide input and raise any concerns.
Implement measures to reduce the repetition of tasks and to provide variety in the workday to improve the physical and mental well-being of workers.
We believe that these steps will go a long way towards creating a safer, more respectful workplace for all Amazon warehouse workers. We urge you to take immediate action to address these issues Amazon is overworking us 3:20.am They are abusing us.
