Recently, Twitch has started to DMCA any saved video streams which includes copyrighted music.

Now, they have announced that they are going to DMCA live streams. This includes copyrighted music from a game.

This means that a lot of gameplay will be limited, and the streaming content will suffer.

As streamers, we rely on keeping our audience entertained, and have the right to make a living doing what we love free of limitations, within reason. This change will hurt a lot of us, as most music from games is copyrighted.

I ask that you sign and share this petition to ask Twitch to consider the alternative. Either charge streamers a license fee (sort of like band camp) or increase subscriptions by $1 or $2.  Twitch is owned by Amazon and they can afford to look at alternatives. Streamers do not deserve to have their content limited, and it is incredibly unfair to DMCA music which is a part of the GamePlay.
